Jennifer's Birthday

this jungle gym was all about elevated, enclosed tunnels. For the frist time, Ming Ming went up with Jennifer and was super excited. The second time she was alone and got trapped, I could not get up (it was too small for me), and she came down feeling a bit scared and did not want to go up again. I guess she was too small for this gym.

Ming Ming's first computer, a gift from Tonton and Tatie for her 2nd brithday. She starts to really use it now, not just as a prop to show that she goes to work too, but really playing the games!

Saturday, papa did not go to Chicago this weekend because of a century blizzard in Chicago. Ming Ming was pretty happy, and so did I, I got such a bad flu that I really needed some help taking care of MM.

Raffael's visit

Raffael and Pascale came to have dinner at our place. A lot of company this Saturday.

Ming Ming rode on her bike for the longest time, thanks to Raffael's example.

at Julian's home

Ming Ming had a really good time playing at Julian's home for a whole morning. here was Julian helping to serve lunch.

Julian has the same balance bike as Ming Ming, but he is using it much more. Ming Ming is more interest at the birdhouse.

The two of them had a really good time. now they can play together, Julian invited MM to his room and the two of them played for a quite a while there alone.

When it was nap time and so time for us to go, Julian waved goodbye by the window and ended up crying.

we were doing sleep trainning again (argghh, i hate this part), and she complained that her room was not pretty enough. So we worked together putting up her cards on the wall. She was really happy and jumped on her bed for a while. We did not profit from the pretty room though. I had to pick her up early on Thursday because she had 101F fever, took her to the doctor's, AGAIN, double ear infection + fever, she ended up in my bed again because of really miserable cough. I kept having four-day-work weeks these days.

It was her Peter and the Wolf poster from the concert. and she looked like a six year old here.

today we received a special gift from German yiyi! it was a bit big but Ming Ming loves it. Here she was putting up the card that came with the gift (top right corner).
