Percussion class in the family resource center... Ming Ming was fascinated. She was too young to join, but she was so interested that we did not have time to check out the other rooms that would be more appropriate for her age. But we did return to the center the next day so that Ming Ming could play with other children there.

She wanted to try too...

Minha is one month younger than Ming Ming. If we stay in Chicago, she should be the designated playmate for Ming Ming as the two of them are so close in age. Here they finally met each other, and even though they were so tired (we met a bit too late, it had well past their bedtime), they managed to play together a little bit.

Chicago - finally

Although Ming Ming spent her embryo days mainly in Chicago, this is her first time (as a human being) in the windy city. And the windy city does not disappoint - high towers, strong wind, chilly April days... and a lot of friendship (which we need badly).

We started to teach Ming Ming some sign language, the first words are encore (more/多點), 吃/"chi" (manger), 飽了/"bao le" (full/assez), 睡覺/"shui jiao" (dormir/sleep).

imaginary food

Ming Ming feeding you imaginary food ... one of her favorite thing to do now. She would only take your food if you take hers. It is very sweet.

The other funny her about her these two days is that she prefers taking food from chopsticks, that way she knows that it adult food. She does not like baby food that much now, wether it is formula or cereal. Here is me trying to feed her some lentil soup mixed with oatmeal cereal, very convenient with the chopsticks. =)
