Chicago Children's museum

Uncle Max took Ming Ming under his wing. Uncle Max definitely left a huge impression on Ming Ming this time (he was in China the last time we went to Chicago). He is at the same time scary (remember the gorilla mask that totally freaked her out!), weird (she is now afraid of men with beard and hat, the grandpa Max type, any connection there?), and incredibly sweet and nice (all the other times when he is not walking in his gorilla mask)! Ming Ming still talks a lot about uncle Max and Helen, especially when we read "where the wild things are", it is "uncle Max" nonstop, but she is a bit confused, why the kid who looks obviously more like Oscar got the name "Max"?

but here the biggest attraction of the merry go round was that mama would disappear and reappear.

fire-fighters! (the chicago obsession)

Oscar walks through this really cool ting.
Ming Ming enjoys magnetic fishing
Oscar prefers driving a bus..
