Sunday morning

playing with papa...
Mama making blueberry pancake, curious Ming Ming wants to help...
that is how I drank my milk in the morning.
PS: Ming Ming does not drink fomula anymore, she likes cow's whole milk better, and for a lazy mum, cow's milk is so much easier to prepare. But she still gets nursed in the early morning and sometimes once during the night when she wakes up.

Look who is talking - a ventriloquist in northside library !

Ming Ming is a bit too young to appreciate the performance, maybe for her, it is all too natural that the puppet would speak and play on their own.

Colonial Williamsburg

family picture in front of the Capitol in Williamsburg - capital of colonial virginia from 1699 till 1780. The 18th century town is meticulously restored, and dwelled with people walking in 18C attire and speaking in 18C English and British accent (well, at least they try to).

demonstrating how to use a 18C saw... one of the main attractions in colonial Williamsburg is the showcase of 18th century technology: we have visited the blacksmith, the shoemaker, the tailor, the weaving and bookbinding workshop and the glass factory. It is totally fascinating to hear the personages introducing the technology, history, and condition of their trade.

day and night

Ming Ming imitating the guitar player who was preforming on the street... she was so tired already, it was 9pm, and we were still on the streets of Virginia beach.
waking up in the morning..both father and daughter feeling a lot better.
like a cat...
napping in her carseat.. we finally turned her forward because she got scared when the car turned at a higher speed...

restaurant in VA beach

did we grow to look like each other?

and, just right before the food arrives, Ming Ming woke up to participate in the meal.

it is a beautiful restaurant with a sand playground for beach volleyball

Virginia Beach, one year after

When we come to the Virginia beach last year, with Nico, Sylvie and Selina, Ming Ming was not able to play yet (only two months old). She is a different child now, for the whole afternoon she busied herself with sand and waves, definitely her father's child, a ocean-loving Cadoux.

patriots on the beach, for sure, it is more comfortable to love one's country from a beach chair than from the battelfield...

loving the waves

surfing the waves with her parents who are in an urgent need to get back to shape...

water melon

Ming Ming loves water melon. True, up to now she eats everything I give her, even lemon. But I can still tell when she prefers certain food.
her expression to say how amazed she is
