Colonial Williamsburg

family picture in front of the Capitol in Williamsburg - capital of colonial virginia from 1699 till 1780. The 18th century town is meticulously restored, and dwelled with people walking in 18C attire and speaking in 18C English and British accent (well, at least they try to).

demonstrating how to use a 18C saw... one of the main attractions in colonial Williamsburg is the showcase of 18th century technology: we have visited the blacksmith, the shoemaker, the tailor, the weaving and bookbinding workshop and the glass factory. It is totally fascinating to hear the personages introducing the technology, history, and condition of their trade.

Mamicat se régale à voir Toinou et Miming réunis.
