When both parents were away

Mamiecath managed to take MM to her music class with a taxi on Saturday morning, when both parents were out of town. Meeting up Julian in music class and hanging out after.

I was away in Vancouver for a conference for four days. Ming Ming went to school in the morning. mamie picked her up after lunch, and she spent the afternoon with mamie. They relished the time with each other.

When I called from Vancouver, MM talked non-stop on the phone, telling me story after story, all the minute details of her time with mamie. I was really surprised by how she talked on the phone. Usually I was the one next to her and had to tell her or ask her questions for her to talk on the phone. But when I was at the other end of the line, MM just went on, "然後...然後...." mamie felt a bit left out as she understood nothing of the conversation.

"I am ready to go too!"

This morning, MM noticed an empty luggage and asked what it was, Antoine told her that mama would be away for a few days, while MM would stay home with Papa and Mamiecath. MM insisted that she would go with mama, and kept consuling papa: "but I will come back in a few days, okay?" While I told her that she could hide in my luggage while I travel, she was very excited. When I came back to the room a few minutes after, she had already packed her books and toys in my luggage. Ready to go!

apparently this is the standard posture at school for art project photos. I wanted to take a picture of her drawing and she insisted on posing for it. She looks really funny!

MM on the phone with papa. This is the door to her room. Now she takes her artwork very seriously. At pick up time she would ask Ms Erin if she could take her artwork home and then we would have to put them up in the house.

this is the art project from last Saturday at musum. she said that she was painting a princess. I helped a little bit.

Today is from today. it is a prince. I did not help at all. I just asked her where was the head, and she drew it. Same with the feet and hands.
