The biggest snow we have ever seen (not even during our six-year sojourn in Chicago). This morning, after around 30 hours of non-stop snow, we have 70cm of snow in our balcony.
10am, 10th Dec 2009. The first trip out, from our apartment to the mailbox.

this is not the moon, it is just a snow flake that caught my flash.
28 inch snow is too much for a 35 inch tall kid to play in.. Ming Ming is very cautious standing in the snow pit.

it's incredible, even in Montreal 50cm of snow would stop everything for a few days. Hopefully streets will be clean enough for when you have to leave for france. We are glad that Antoine was not in Chicago or on the road this weekend. Enjoy the snow and if you miss it, come see us in Montreal (altough this year you have more snow and it started earlier in your southern state of virginia!!!) Tante Sylvie et Tonton Nicolas
