We planned to attend the workshop, but Ming Ming fell asleep in the car (because of her morning swimming section, we were far too ambitious putting so many things in the weekend program). So we went to Trader Joes to do some grocery shopping first, ended up arriving at the culture center just in time for the dance along.
Ming Ming, Lily, and Anissa were super excited. But Lucas and Oscar immediately sensed that it was a girl's thing; the sea of pink tutu scared them off. They did not want to join the dancing but were quite enthralled and watched everything really attentively.
see how Lily watched and copied Ming Ming's movement!
the real ballerina was here!

the young ballerinas were invited back to the floor after each performance piece, they danced along with the real ballerinas and then were called back to the audience seat. The interval between movement and watching quietly worked really well with this age group.
