a puppet play at the library, an empty pot. it was supposed to be a traditional Chinese story, and actully one of the most popular Chinese ones in the US I guess, but growing up in both China and Hong Kong, I have never heard of it. I wonder if the Chinese export a different set of Chinese culture to foreigners or if the foreigners are not rather idiosyncratic in their picking of Chinese materials.
